Shadow Bonnie is a character in the game which can be interacted in the supply closet. He will ask you for help to find his death report. He plays a major role in deciding which ending the player receives in the end.
It is best to interact with him during Night 1, as it may be harder to get the ending you wish if done later. Once spoken to, you will be given the quest to find his death report. This death report can be found in the Employee's Only room in a box on the far left.
Once the player returns to him and gives him the death report, Shadow Bonnie will tell the player how he passed. Afterwards, he says that the player no longer needs him, that someone needs his help. Once he helps them, he will be able to pass on with him. As he is going to pass on with Him. Fading away and leaving the player with a reward, being a key to the Basement door in the Employee's Only room.
Night 4[]
Depending on if the player did his quest, will change what happens on Night 4. If he is not helped, the final cut-scene will show him standing there asking for help.

If they have completed the quest, they will receive another cut-scene after The Abandoned Ending. He will be seen floating above an arcade machine, then fading into it. Where he must glitch through the different parts of the wall to get to the next area. These areas will be, Fredbear's Family Diner's Show stage, Freddy Fazbear's Stage, The FNaF 4 bedroom, the Puppet's box, and then a black box. In the box there is a crying child, this being Shadow Bonnie's son. He was who he had to come back to save.
Shadow Bonnie goes up to his son, he tells him that it is going to be okay, and that they are going to a better place. The two share a hug, and fade back into the pizzeria outside the bathrooms. Shadow Bonnie does not return for Night 5.
